Puck is a background character in hoops&yoyo.

Appearance

Puck is a purple rodent with large ears, an elliptical black nose and small eyes. He’s one of the smaller critters, though his size tends to shift in promotional material, sometimes appearing around the same height as Piddles, and other times shown even smaller.

Biography

Puck is one of the first critters to be introduced into hoops&yoyo, along with Bluebird, first appearing in "No Heart As Big" in 2001, he would often appear on the homepages holding a red umbrella, hiding inside of small objects on the page, or in a tree in the later homepages.

Puck is named after Hockey Pucks, based on Bob Holt's childhood experiences with Ice Hockey.

Otherwise, Puck only has minor roles, such as being in a butter truck in "Christmas Cookies are Good", holding up Hoops' script in "Making Of Your E-Card", or eating ice cream with Hoops and Yoyo in "This day your Birthday".

Puck does not have a voice actor nor is heard speaking, however he is seen speaking in "This day your Birthday" with Yoyo and also has some small bits of dialogue in a calendar, and a set of valentines cards, saying "No Duh." and "I really looove you" respectively, as well as various other print material.

• His first appearance was Gift Wish Certificate Demo as a mailman.
• Puck has his own section on the newsletters, "Puck's crafty crafts", introduced on March 2006 newsletter. which is about making paper crafts and other things.
• Puck has his own birthday card featuring Hoops.
