When Bob Holt was tasked with creating a 4th of July e-card using only a firecracker. He started to design a green bunny character based on the one he created at home. Later on, he took the character and turned it into Hoops. Eventually, Hoops needed a companion, and this character would be redesigned into Yoyo.
Publication
This initially occurred when sillypotato345 messaged Bob Holt on Facebook to inquire about the creation of the green bunny character. Holt responded that he had drawn it around 2000-2001.
