Happy 4th of July! is the very first hoops&yoyo e-card created by Bob Holt in 2001, animated using Macromedia Flash. It was remade a few years later, with the assumed re-release being in 2003. Unfortunately, this has yet to be archived.

Synopsis
Hoops tries to light a firework in a soda bottle and then runs for cover, but the fuse keeps fizzling out. Finally, the firework explodes when Hoops gets too close to the fuse. In the original version, Hoops ducks down to take cover, while in the remake, the firework blows up in his face. Neither version features music or voice acting, only sound effects.
