Hoops attempts to light off a firework in a soda bottle and run for cover, only for the fuse to repeatedly fizzle out. It finally blows up after Hoops gets too close to the fuse. In the original version, Hoops fell over. In the remake version, the firework blows up in this face. There's no music or voice acting in either version, only sound effects. | |||

“Happy 4th of July!” is the very first hoops&yoyo eCard made by Bob Holt in 2001, animated on Macromedia Flash. It was remade a few years later in the assumed re-release being 2003.

Hoops attempts to light off a firework in a soda bottle and run for cover, only for the fuse to repeatedly fizzle out. It finally blows up after Hoops gets too close to the fuse. In the original version, Hoops fell over. In the remake version, the firework blows up in this face. There's no music or voice acting in either version, only sound effects.

- This eCard was originally going to feature Bob’s green bunny character (early version of Yoyo) but this character was redesigned to a pink kitty (Hoops).
