Flash
Adobe Flash, originally Macromedia Flash is a software made by Macromedia in 1996 that was acquired by Adobe. For two decades Flash was majorly used by the web, but it was discontinued in 2021.
To get the Flash animations displaying on web, people could install Flash Player to display the animations.
Majority of hoops&yoyo animated content is from Flash animation, starting in 2001, the franchise was animated using Flash 5 (2000). later on in 2003, it was animated using Flash MX 2004 and so on. the file format was SWF.
The flash animations that were on websites was discontinued in October 2013, according to the official YouTube channel[1] . Its decline accelerated then due to security flaws, poor mobile performance (especially after Steve Jobs criticized it for iOS), this decision led the animated content to be published in .MOV files.
