History

The greeting cards are based off a Ephemera concepts.

One definition for ephemera is "the minor transient documents of everyday life".Ephemera are often paper-based, printed items, including menus, ticket stubs, newspapers, postcards, posters, sheet music, stickers, and greeting cards. [2]

The greeting cards started being manufactured around 2005, with simpler greeting cards such as Hi, Hello! and Congratulations (Greeting Card) greeting cards.

Artist and voice actor of Hoops, Mike Adair, would design the greeting cards in 2006. One of the most known examples is the Yodeling Birthday Wishes and 100 Bucks greeting card.

As of today, many hoops&yoyo greeting cards are still being printed in Walgreens, CVS, Dollar Tree.
