Marshy, The Monster Marshmallow or Marshy is a song that is featured in One Donut a Day, and is sung by and Parry Gripp and Marshy.

Lyrics
He's Marshy, the monster marshmallow,

Marshy, the monster marshmallow,

Marshy, the monster marshmallow.

He's a two-stories high, an intimidating fellow.

Well Marshy was walking, out in the woods.

Lightning struck and it got him real good.

He blew up like a big white Godzilla.

People, stay on home and hang onto your pillow.

Marshy (spoken): Come on!, wait for me! [cries]

Marshy (sung): I'm Marshy. The monster marshmallow.

Marshy. The monster marshmallow.

Marshy. The monster marshmallow. I'm a two story high and intimidating fellow.

HYY: bee-doo-bee-doo!

Marshy (spoken): Hey, come on, you little guys! Wait up for me! I can't run that fast! *cries*"

Goofs
*When Hoops and Yoyo runs away from Marshy, Yoyo's right arm detaches from the body for 2 frames, and then disappears. When Hoops runs away, for just a couple of milliseconds, Hoops left arm is seen for 3 frames before it dissapears.

“Coffee Run: An Office Adventure Game”, also known as "Hoops&Yoyo: Coffee Run!" or simply "Coffee Run!", is a web game made for the hoops&yoyo website in 2009, developed by Blit Games using Adobe Flash & ActionScript. This was also the 2nd web game released for the official US website, following after Video Maker.

The game consists of you choosing Hoops or Yoyo to play the stages. You can play stages published by other people or your own. In those stages you have to pass through obstacles such as Piddles, Marshy, Chilli Bear, and some other objects.

Unfortunately, the game is currently unplayable in its intended form, due to the broken ActionScript code, custom HTML coding from the original website being unavailable, the original website's declined popularity, and the original server hosting the game being shut down as well. As such, some of the details regarding data & information are missing.

Gameplay
Coffee Run is a level-making game that takes place in Hoops & Yoyo’s office space, where the goal is to drink the coffee at the opposite side of the room before the timer runs out. The player can drop and add whichever object they choose onto the grid map in the editor and can play as either Hoops or Yoyo, and using the arrow keys to move the character. Once a level is verified playable through testing, the player has the option to publish & share their custom level. The level name options were typically preset, but a player could pick any combination of preset words for their level.

If the player were to complete a submitted level online, the selected character would sing about winning the game.

In-Game Instructions
#Build your game level by selecting and dropping objects onto the game board.
#Add donuts all around. The player must collect all the donuts before getting coffee.
#Test your game. You can only publish games that you are able to complete.

Timer & Music
The timer, labeled “Time To Play” in the game's editor, is where the player can add however much time they want for Hoops or Yoyo to grab their coffee. The three timer options are 1 minute, 1 and a half minutes, and 2 minutes.

The music, labeled “Pick Music” in the game's editor, is the background song that plays when the player starts the game. There are three song options: “Insert Coin”, “Glo Stick”, and “Beanbag”.

Items/Helpers
Items, labeled “Add Helpers” in the game, are collectibles to help the player. These items vary in usefulness.

Pink Sprinkled Donut

This item boosts the player’s running pace & speeds up the music for a brief period of time, usually 3 to 7 seconds if one donut is eaten.

Paper Shield

This item is held against Hoops or Yoyo’s face to briefly act as a shield against distractions.

Office Chair

Sitting in the office chair allows for Hoops or Yoyo to quickly move across the office without running into distractions. The main downsides are the fact that the player can only move in one direction they’re walking in until they hit a wall or object.

Hoops & Yoyo Balloons

The balloons are distractions for the distractions, as walking next to them would inflate the balloons for a short period of time.

Bag of Coffee Beans

This item refills the coffee meter to a certain amount, to increase both the time limit and the player’s score upon completion.

Dinner Plate

This item does nothing for the player, but it is likely similar to the balloons, where it's function is to distract the distractions.

Obstacles/Distractions
Obstacles, labeled as “Add Distractions” in the game, are objects and characters meant to temporarily disrupt the player from reaching the coffee on time. Running into the distractions stops the player in their tracks with an exclamation but doesn’t stop the timer, hence adding difficulty to the game. The characters can only be placed once but can walk around on a random path. The objects can only be stationary, but multiple can be added across the map and depend on RNG.

Chili Bear

Chili Bear is the first character that can be placed on the map. His sprite contains him holding a clipboard. Bumping into him with either Hoops or Yoyo triggers a cutscene where they complain about extra work, both being unique to the character the player chose. Chili Bear is also the only character to not have a line of dialogue in this game.

Piddles

Piddles is the second character that can be placed on the map. She has the smallest sprite and hops around. Bumping into Piddles will trigger a cutscene where she talks about gossip and other jokes. She has 4 different cutscenes, 2 of which are custom to Hoops and Yoyo, making her with the longest and most cutscenes in the game.

Marshy

Marshy is the third and last character that can be placed on the map. His sprite is the second biggest, being shorter than Chili Bear. Bumping into him triggers a cutscene where Marshy complains about being run into. He has only one cutscene and it stays the same regardless of which character the player chooses.

Birthday Cake

The birthday cake is the first RNG based distraction object. During gameplay, if the candles are off and the cake is pink, the player can walk past them. However, if the cake turns white and the candles are lit up, if the player walks into it, Hoops or Yoyo will be forced to sing Happy Birthday for 4-5 seconds.

Radio

The radio is the second RNG based distraction object. During gameplay, the radio will be stationary and can be walked past. But if the radio begins to vibrate and light up when the player walks past, Hoops or Yoyo will be stuck for 4-5 seconds.

Telephone

The phone is the third and last RNG based distraction object. During gameplay, the phone will be still and remain quiet, making it safe for the player to walk past. Once the phone starts to ring and light up green, bumping into this will force the player to take a phone call for a brief amount of time.

Other Items
The last items that can be placed on the map are furniture and plain donuts. The furniture serves as extra boundaries for both the player and the distraction characters, with the three types being a cubicle, a plant, and a coat hanger. The plain donuts serve as an extra challenge to the player, where they have to collect all the plain donuts placed on the map before reaching the coffee. Finally, the eraser is simply there to remove unwanted objects on the map.

“*Player must clear all donuts before getting coffee”

Trivia
*Although archived snapshots of the game's page didn't archive the SWF file, the file itself has been redistributed across the internet, such as SWFchan in 2009 and Deviantart in 2019.
*The game's page url is oddly named "gameCreator". This could imply that was the early name for coffee run, but it's unconfirmed.
*In the level's editor icons, Piddles, Marshy and Chilli Bear's icons are bitmaps, while the rest of the icons are vectors.
*Due to the developers simplifying the 3D sprites to fit in the grid for the game, several characters besides Piddles have similar heights.
*The dancing loop animations were reused from Video Maker.
*All of the songs in the game are royalty free songs from Universal Production Music. More details and information about the songs are on the UPM Page.
*In Yoyo’s victory animation, Piddles can be heard laughing in the background.

The Adventures Of Green Bunny is one of the very earliest pieces of hoops&yoyo media. It's a test animation Bob Holt made.

*Estimated Release Date: Circa 2000/2001
*Character(s) Featured: Green Bunny
*Lost Media Status: Fully Found.
*File Name: 4greenbunny.swf

History
It all started when Bob Holt was challenged to make a 4th of July E-Card using only a firecracker. Bob started making a Green Bunny character based on the one he created at home. Later on, he took the Green Bunny character and turned it into Hoops. Eventually Hoops needed a pal, so this Green Bunny was redesigned as Yoyo.

Discovery
The discovery happened when sillypotato345 texted Bob Holt on Facebook, he asked when he drew the green bunny that would later become Yoyo, and he said he drew it around 2000-2001. When he contacted Bob earlier, he said he had a hard time converting the SWF file of the bunny to another format. But successfully, he managed to convert it.
And then in July 9, 2023, a user by the named CloudyEgg in archive.org, uploaded the flash file.

Synopsis
When it starts, you can see the title which is "the adventures of GREEN BUNNY". You can see two Green Bunnies at the same time. One of them are standing, and another walks to the car and rides it.
It stops but when you press play on Flash menu, you can see another animation, which Yoyo looks at the viewer and then walks away.

Trivia
*Green Bunny's body is very different than Yoyo. He has a retangular-ish head, small ears, wide smile and a small body. When he is on the side, his head is actually different. He has a big sided nose. While the final Yoyo doesn't have this, instead he has the same head.

Bob Holt is one of the animators, voice actors of Hoops&Yoyo. He voices Yoyo, a green bunny.

Early Work
Bob holt has worked on many things at Hallmark. Mostly humor, tough, including shoebox cards. When Bob got interested in animation, he tought he might want to do E-Cards for hallmark.com. He applied for a job there by doing a series of very short animations of a unlucky boy, and submitting them to the bosses.

End of the job at Hallmark
Animation
His animation, is known as a simplified and choppy style, which was easier to animate. Mike Adair does a more, complicated and smoother animation. This style was between 2001-2008, but in 2009, the animation got gradually smoother and greater.

A minor mistake is present. Hoops' eyebrows are offcentered at the last frame of the loop. Oddily, the flash file naming for it is "summerbday06.swf", possibly the name was intended to be " Summer Birthday".

Hoops&Yoyo is a franchise starring a pink cat, a green bunny and a blue critter. These characters are the stars of the E-Cards, Littlelife, Homepages, Podwalkin', Manners, The Studio and games of the franchise

All these characters were made by Bob Holt. He made Yoyo as a character first, but he changed him to Hoops, since a certain 4th of July e-card was in production.

These were popular since the 2000's and 2010's, since they were mascots of Hallmark. Their declines were in 2015, by Bob Holt being fired, after making them millions.

Voice Actors
Hoops is voiced by Mike Adair.

Yoyo is voiced by Bob Holt.

Piddles is voiced by Bev Carlson.

Development Of Hoops&Yoyo
It all started were Bob Holt was challenged to create a 4th of July e-card animation using only a firecracker. Bob started with a little green bunny he had already created at home; then the green bunny transforms into Hoops, a pink kitty with enormous eyes and an unusually large head plunked on an unusually small body. When Hoops eventually needed a pal, the original green bunny came back to life as Yoyo.

There's this hallmark book, which tells us how hoops and yoyo come to be.

"Hallmark: A Century of Caring"

"The popular characters hoops&yoyo got their start in Hallmark artist Bob Holt's basement in 2001, with Bob fiddling around on the drawing of a little green bunny. Bob liked his funny bunny. For a Hallmark.com e-card, Bob made the bunny pink, gave it a kitty's ears, and the green bunny became Hallmark's pink kitty, which Bob eventually named hoops. When hoops needed an e-cards sidekick, Bob brought back the green bunny and named it yoyo.
Thus from wacky origins the duo's on-line popularity grew and spawned plush characters, profitable sound cards, and a crazily popular web site that launched in 2004. Much of hoops&yoyo fame lies in their hilariously unscripted gab-fests.
Their voices are recorded (and speeded up) in a Hallmark studio, with Bob as yoyo and artist pal Mike Adair voicing hoops.
There's something subversive in their wisecracking anarchy, but wholesome too. From the heap of fan letters and email, Bob says his favorite points to hoops&yoyo's innocent appeal: "I come to your site because you guys make me smile, even on bad days."

*File Name: hyy_manners_lesson7.swf

Synopsis
This features a christmas tree background with Yoyo is standing behind the Christmas tree.
Right Animation
Hoops shows up and then he gives a present to Yoyo. When Yoyo gets the present, he reads the card first. He reads "have a very merry Christmas, you deserve it", and he thanks Hoops. He is curious about what that present has. After he unwraps the present, he gets surprised, by saying "Huh, ooh, how did you know!" He thanks Hoops, and says "I really needed the socks, I love socks." He thanks Hoops because he remembered to make the socks green.

Wrong Animation
Hoops appears again, but he says a different line. Instead of saying "here's a gift, for me to you", he says "I bought this gift for you...". When Yoyo gets the present, he doesn't thank Hoops.Hoops gets shocked by him, and Yoyo violently unwraps the gift afterwards. Hoops says "What are you doing? Wait!". When Yoyo gets the socks he complains that he already has socks, and then he screams. Hoops says "Another Christmas RUINED!" and then he says "You ungrateful little bunny!" Then they both laugh and it ends.

Unseen Content
In the flash file, when you start both of the animations, there's a table which has eyebrows, eyes, and mouths. This was used for animating the characters. David Coffman made these.

Mistakes
*In the "right" animation, Hoops grabs the present, but his hands aren't attached to it. This can be seen for a few seconds.

*When you start both of the animations, in one frame, Yoyo is offcentered in the "right" manner, and in the "wrong" one, his eyebrows are offcentered for 1 frame.
Trivia
*This is the first ever animation that features a card cameo.
